Back in May of 2004, I arrived in La Nucia. Previously, I had been working hard as a painter and teacher of painting for at least twelve years in the Marina Alta.
A year after arriving in La Nucia, in May 2005, I moved to the Valley of Guadalest (Beniarda).
Without realizing it, the dream and project I had had once (which had been frustrated just after beginning), fourteen years ago, of living in one of the highest points of the valley above Abdet, had been fulfilled in a fortuitous and unexpected way. A place from which I could see the Valley, pure mountain, pure nature... although here in the Valley, everything is pure mountain, pure nature.
Beniarda was my second entrance to the Valley. Although not without difficulties, the conditions were, of course, better than the first time in 1990. It was there, in Beniarda, where I painted a good number of the works of the "Astral Heavens" Collection, in addition to the numerous landscapes of the surroundings.
On January 18, 2012, I inaugurated a painting exhibition that took me until April 22 at the Municipal Museum Casa de Orduña in Guadalest, invited by Juan Martínez Solbes. From that same April I registered myself and became a neighbor of Guadalest.
That exhibition collected much of the work I had developed as my only activity during the last seven years in Beniarda. I exhibited most of the "Astral Heavens" Collection.
